Cenang Plaza Beach Hotel

The best thing about this hotel is the location. The staff at reception is very helpful and even allowed me to check out slightly late, I appreciate them for this. The location cannot get any better than this! 10 out of 10 because of the location & staff. But as its a 2 star hotel their staff is low. The front desk officer helped us with the bags to the reception. From reception to our room we had to take ourselves which was a bit of hassle. If you do not want to stay in the hotel room much then I will recommend you this hotel as you can have enough time for the beach as its close by.

Excellent location with a lot of restaurants nearby. Note that some don't serve alcohol and all don't serve pork. The room was fabulous with clean sheets, comfy mattress and pillows. Sockets on both sides of the bed BUT all UK plugs so bring an adaptor. Shower pressure is absolutely fantastic with hot water available. Tiny toiletries are available with slippers. The towels were thin and somewhats grey. There are 2 laundromats within walking distance and note you don't need to purchase detergent as it's already included. There was a hair dryer in the bedroom. I didn't see an iron though I have no doubt it would have been provided on request. Balcony included I presume for smokers with 2 chairs and a table to enjoy an evening drink. It's not a massive sea view as there's a lot of trees in the way but you do see a fair bit of ocean. Most restaurants seemed open a little past midnight.

The location is good and rental car could have free parking nearby. The place is clean, opposite is a mall although not big and with limited shops but it is good enough. Tour agents are available nearby, the beach is just in front so it is very convenient to get there to watch the fire watch during night time. Night market is within walking distance as well.

All the 3 reception staff were so cheerful and helpful. The surrounding area is so lively and many choices of restaurants, Duty Free shops. Pub with live music is within short walk. Rooms overlooking the beach is lovely.

the location is perfect. it is right next to the beach! very comfortable stay. It was exactly what we had expected when booking. It was between Nadias and Cenang Plaza and we were very satisfied with our choice. Decent room size, the air conditioner was working perfectly, loved the balcony. there was hot water 24/7! even though there is no breakfast and we knew this while booking, there are soo many options right nearby.
